Luis Buñuel stated that “...memory is what makes our lives. Life without memory is not life at all...our memory is our coherence, our reason, our feeling, even our action. Without it we are nothing.”
Walking into a familiar room, or seeing a familiar face, or hearing a voice we know well triggers a rush of context, reminding us of who we are in relation to this person or place or object.

The trigger effect of an object is called a flashbulb memory, it is thought to be the purest of our memories, a memory by trigger comes naturally just like desire, it’s not something you intend to think about, you just think about it, and the beauty of it, is that it can’t be easily corrupted.
